Business Analyst

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our team and help us bridge the gap between our technical and business operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in both business analysis and technical expertise, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will work closely with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects and solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and project status.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support to stakeholders and end-users after implementation of technical solutions. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. MBA will be an added advantage. 
  • 2-4 years’ experience in business analysis and technical expertise.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools as needed.

Responsibilities & Duties:

 

  • Interacting with client to understand client’s business and technical problems, defining, executing and delivering the technical solution to the business problems – Carry out all aspects of technical project management including work planning, estimation, scope refinement, documentation, quality and delivery 
  • Responsible for project progress while taking corrective action wherever necessary and revising it to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Collaborating with their team to identify and fix technical problems
  • Analyzing users’ needs and then finding applications to serve them
  • Manage operational workflow and ensure seamless delivery for both quick turnaround analysis and long-term projects. 
  • Conceptualize the analytical methodology for business problems and lead a team to configure solution which includes defining metrics, visualizations, data processing, validation and ingestion flows. 
  • Research new methods of analysis, suggest areas of analysis to the team, understand clients- long-term analytics requirements and actively suggest methods to answer such needs 
  • Understand the nature of the data and how it relates to the problem at hand. 
  • Communicate expectations and establish deadlines in agreement with client and delivery team. 
  • Managing cross-functional interdependencies. 
  • Able to build relationships, trust, and work collaboratively on small and large teams across functions and in a professional manner. 
  • Proactive towards organizational initiatives and people activities like training, developing people by creating growth plans, etc.

Experience and Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or any related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or similar role
  • A certification in Project Management Professional is desirable 
  • Excellent technical expertise
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills
  • Strong understanding of principals of customer service and consulting
  • Experience with enterprise reporting tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Project Management Skills
  • In-Depth and hands-on knowledge of Analytic or Data management tools like Tableau, PowerBI and others.
