OUR STORY

Founded in November 2009 by Dr. Sanjoy Mitra and Dr. Monjori Mitra, SMSRC was built on a singular mission — to take Rx Research forward. Within a few years of inception, SMSRC became a leading force in Rx-based market research and strategic marketing consulting for the pharmaceutical industry across India and Bangladesh.
Today, SMSRC is backed by a leadership team of experienced professionals and more than 180 dedicated specialists operating across 80+ centres in India and Bangladesh. The organisation is also constantly evolving its proprietary BI and cloud-based platforms for Rx data analytics, with a state-of-the-art big data platform currently in development.
SMSRC’s systems comply with Indian data privacy laws and meet the highest data security standards in the industry — including ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification.
